The Power of Kelp

WHY KELP?
The main causes of hair and skin damage are poor nutrition and chronic illness, along with the use of harsh and synthetic chemicals. Kelp is a rich source of iodine and contains over 50 essential nutrients which include minerals calcium, zinc, magnesium, iron, vitamins A, B complex, K, and amino acids lysine, histidine, and glutamic acid. Kelp’s richness is beneficial to healthy skin and hair.

KELP BENEFITS FOR HAIR & SCALP
Certain nutrients in kelp, such as iron and the essential amino acid, l-lysine, directly affect hair growth. Deficiencies in iron and l-lysine can impact hair loss in otherwise healthy individuals.

Zinc is a trace mineral that is crucial to the maintenance of normal body functioning. It also plays a role in cell reproduction, vitamin absorption and protein synthesis. Hair is made of protein, and if your body isn’t making enough of it, you will see it in your brittle or thin hair.
